In the early rays of Sunday, when the moon is out of sight,
I listen for the swishing sword of mighty warrior’s delight.
Archangel Michael battles beasts, and dragons with dark fangs,
Never misses the mark upon which the steady blade he aims.
If light alludes my life purpose, and I wander, lost in fear,
I call on his brave endurance because he will always hear.
His army instills self esteem, and courage through the belief,
Gives direction with protection as highest angelic chief.
Michael and his mighty army, defeat obstacles away.
He who is as God honors faith for a better loving day.
Emerald wings and a smile that gleams, he handsomely arrives,
To destroy all foes and end woes, plus dry up teary eyes.
When I need pardon from choices, which prove me to be flawed,
My righteousness is defended by he who is as God.
I call on Archangel Michael for courage to set free,
From last judgment when repentance, release the abyss key.
This really helps me put Michael in perspective.
